WESLEY BRITT

Wesley Britt is a native of Cullman.
For the past decade and a half, Wesley has had a successful corporate career managing economic & community development, governmental relations, corporate affairs and applied innovation efforts at Alabama Power Company. As Director of Applied Innovations, he oversaw activity for communities small and large across Alabama to build their futures through new technologies and energy services, addressing foundational issues such as broadband expansion and evolving workforce development needs.
His corporate career has given him experience on various issues in Alabama and other states across the country, as well as matters in Washington, D.C. Immediately prior to joining Fine Geddie, Wesley served as chairman for the Katie Britt for United States Senate campaign.

Wesley is a graduate of the University of Alabama. As an undergraduate he pursued a Business Administration degree, studied international business abroad, and was a fellow at the Blackburn Institute, a leadership development and civic engagement program focused on improving the state of Alabama. He received a football scholarship to the University of Alabama, where he served as team captain and earned All-American honors as left tackle for the Crimson Tide. After graduation, Wesley played four seasons for the New England Patriots, helping his team reach the Super Bowl in the 2007 season.

After retiring from the NFL, he received a Masters in Business Administration from UA.
