Joseph Fine grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. A graduate of Montgomery Academy, he attended the University of Alabama for both undergraduate and graduate school, where he earned a master’s degree in history.

Prior to joining Fine Geddie in 2026, Fine worked at The Ehrhardt Group, a New Orleans public relations firm, where he served as a liaison to the oil and gas industry’s Grow Louisiana Coalition. He then joined the staff of Louisiana Secretary of Health Dr. Rebekah Gee, where he helped draft legislation. Most recently, he served with the Bayou District Foundation, the New Orleans nonprofit behind Columbia Parc, a nationally recognized mixed-income redevelopment of the city’s former St. Bernard housing project paired with cradle-to-college education programs.
